This is a display that everyone who follows PT Boats should view. The work is outstanding. My time was spent in the South Pacific but this display almost
placed me In Italy.♠

Really well done diorama. The figures really bring it to life. Thanks for finding that Jeff.

That is great work but where did he get the natives ?? I can not find natives in 1/35 or even 1/32 scale. I notice some of the crew are those super expensive resin figures that are way more than I'll spend for 1 crew member but natives..................where are they hiding?
I need a bunch of natives to help the Seabees construct the reunion base.

Anybody have any updates on the Italeri PT 109 crew?

That is simply OUTSTANDING !! everything is correct that I can see, on this model of PT 561("Pappy Yokum", ex-"Earthquake McGoon") not every boat in RON 29 had complete Aerial recognition markings, and not every boat had the RON 29 emblem on the side of the cabin. This would be great if Frank can add this to his collection!

Roy, some of those figures are from kits a Ukrainian company called MB LTD. there website is:http://www.mbltd.info/
Check out the awesome dioramas from international modelers.
Take care,

Simply outstanding work, everything looks perfect. I love the figured, which are pretty expensive, but do add to the Diorama. Figures are the single most important reason why a Diorama wins or fails...........

All;
Did you notice while looking at the full diorama photo, the boat officer is up on the quaywall, talking to two Italian girls, while the crew is working away.........typical. just like an officer

How about a picture of the entire PT boat alone. It is truly beautiful.
