Well folks, I'm in need of both MK. 8 & MK.13 torpedoes for the torpedo shop on the "What If" reunion diorama. What I have to offer is four 40mm Bofors, many depth charges with racks and 2 radar masts.

Man do I wish they had put 4 of each fish in these conversion kits.

We are manufacturing replica Mk XIII torpedoes for PT 305 restoration. We will be making them to reduce the weight and increase storage. We have an example Mk XIII to reverse engineer the props and other size attributes.

Are you interested in replica? These will have heads made of spun aluminum, rolled sheet body and fiberglass props.

I originally thought you were looking for full sized examples.

That would be great Bob. I could have a crew installing fins and props on them in the shop. Could you e-mail me when you get a chance. magic@frontiernet.net

Ahoy there Roy.

How many of each are you hoping to get?

Ahoy Peter Tare,
4 to 6 of the Mk. 8 and at least 6 of the Mk. 13. There will be a shed with some being worked on inside, several rows in stands outside the shed and and a converted Army truck with a crane on back carrying a few to the loading dock.

Why not cast them?

I am so overwhelmed with projects now and trying to get this Barge / camera platform done, that is the last thing I need to spend time on.

Ahoy there again.

Email me at petertarebuilder@yahoo.com to discuss a trade for two of the Mk.13 ones.

Cheers
