I'm looking for info on a PT sailor....Glenn Norr...All his family knows is he served in the Solomons. Anyone?

Jeff, in my records I have a Glenn Arden Norr with MTB Squadrons 7th Fleet who was a Gunners Mate Second. I have no information as to which Ron he was with but his service number is 821-57-01, which would be helpful in obtaining his service records.

I found Glenn Norr on the USS CARTER HALL (LSD-3) in October 1943, but he may have just been a passenger. He arrives at COM MTBRON 7th Fleet on 9 September 1944 in the Ordnance Stock Control Unit. He came from a Naval Suplly Depot, but not sure which one. Stayed there until he left in May 1945 for the US.

Haven't found him anywhere else, yet.
