Happy birthday to my father JOHN SULLIVAN who is 90 yrs young today may 21
He server on the 107
when it was launcher in rhode island in 1942 went thru panama and served
in the pacific on the 107 thru july 1944 when he went on leave. He wasn't there when it caught fire and sank. He was at sea Aug 1&2 the night the 109 was sank he said they saw the fire on horizon didn't expect to find survivors. The 107 was 1 0f 4 boats in his section that attacked distroyers that night 105 was lead boat i think.
They fired all 4 torpedo's and got the hell out of there.
Anyone else serve on the 107 on in Ron 5
thank you all for your service

Ahoy James,

My father was the original Gunner's Mate
on the 107 boat. Your dad took over as
Gunner's Mate when dad was transferred
off the boat to be an instructor at Melville.
I tried to contact your dad via his aol email
but the message was blocked because
I'm not on his OK email list. Could you
please contact your dad and let him know
that I have been reading his posts on the
forum and would like to email him directly?

My email address: patron46.radio@yahoo.com
or: f6f5k@yahoo.com

Your dad and Stockdale, the radioman, are
only two PT107 crew members left, James.

Best wishes,

Robert (Bob) Gosnell
2nd generation PT107
