Now Fella's don's scoff... I know that this kit is not everyone's favorite, but at the time I bought it, that was pretty much it as fare as PT Boat models went.

I am looking for someone who would be interested in buying it from me, maybe to convert to R/C, as it was designed for.

The Box was opened to check parts and then put away until I had time to build it..... I never got the time due to everyday life hitting me square in the face.

So now I want to get the 1/35 Italeri Kit to go along with the 596, but I feel I should get this albatross off from around my next first.

Anyone interested? I am in Stamford, CT.
if interested I can send pics of box, and we can discuss price and shipping.

Please PM me if interested.

Hi there.

Good luck. That kit can be built into a reasonable looking PT boat if one is willing to spend time on it. Remember that it was designed as a runabout electric model first, an RC boat second and a static display model last.

You're lucky that shipping such a large package in the US is a LOT less than it is here in Canada. I have an Italeri PT-596 kit I want to get rid of but the shipping is absolutely horrendous especially shipping to the Continental US from Canada. I guess I'm stuck with it. I'm thinking of scavenging the weapons fom it for other stuff.

I hope you find a buyer for your kit.

Cheers

Ahoy there Curtis.

This board does not have a PM function.

For curiosity, how much are you asking for the kit?

What colour is the plastic?

Cheers

The Plastic is dark Green,

The kit cost me approximately $85.00 when new, I am willing to accept Best offer, + shipping costs.

Sorry, didnt realize no PM feature here.

PeterTare Builder2,

Tell me about your 596, would you be open to a trade?

I love the kit but not to build. I remember buying them for $35.00 when they first came out, a tidy sum in the day. If I was to purchase one, I would want it for the Exhibit only, just to have one..............
