ť Topic: Daihatsu Barge Color?

OK Guys, I need to side-track myself a bit here on a short project. I want to construct a Diahatsu barge to use with the 623 and I'm not sure on the color these might have been. I'm thinking a dark brown stain similar to what a railroad tie would look like. I don't think that a grey or lighter wood stain would be correct. Any suggestions here since all the photos I have seen are B&W ?
