Hi Al, Interesting to note that the Boats patroled at a speed of 8 to 11 knots once they arrived at their A.O. and is recorded as such. I belive that there were many questions over the years about a certain skipper that lost his Boat while doing 10 knots in his patrol sector,(not to pull the tail on that donkey yet again on the board lol) yet here is recorded proof that it was comon practice.

Interesting to see what those that were there really did rather than what the story changes to after it has been told a number of times.

This is great first hand accounts of those nights on the Boats.
