The design for PTs 1-4 originted with George Crouch, a well-known naval architect of the 1920s and 30s, who was associated with Webb Institute in Glen Cove, NY. I wonder whether any of his drawings are held there. Does anyone live near Glen Cove and want to skulk around in the archives???
