I am very happy to announce that the "Springfield Museum" has accepted my proposal for a John F Kennedty/ PT-109 Exhibit. I will be set up at the brand new museum on the second floor ( this one has an elevator) for the months of January through April 2013. I am very excited to do this type of exhibit, as it was Kennedy and PT-109 that started my love affair with the boats.

I have ample artifacts for the exhibit, but would love a PT-109 model. The one that our crazy cats had knocked over is a bit too large, and really not museum quality for my exhibits. I am in hopes that Stan will finish my paper PT-109 by then, but in no way can he do the Italeri boat and make her into PT-109, he just does not have time. I will keep you guys posted, and when the time comes will of course send you photos of the exhibit. We are in hopes that the museum board of directors will give the go ahead to have my Packard Marine Engine on the first floor, as a tease to the actual exhibit. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I have a nice 1/72 scale PT-109 that was donated by Jerry Fraske that I will use in some capacity for this exhibit. Should be fun..............

Great news, Frankie! Keep the faith and hope that the elevator is still working by then.

Frank;
What color will you PT 109 model be? The correct battleship gray? The correct light gray and dark gray? The correct olive drab green? The correct forest green? or, The correct Jungle green?
Enjoy!
