Hello PT Message Board!
Just in case you guys might be interested, there is a 3 page article in the November 2006 issue of the Navys monthly "All Hands" magazine. It is on pages 36-39. You can see an electronic "online" version of the article using either Adobe Acrobat or Flash Media if you want to. To see it: Go to http://www.navy.mil/allhands.asp and then choose "November" and then "2006" then hit the "Go" button. On another navy website, there are 2 short video clips showing the PT658 during last Junes Rose Festival. One shows an interview with PT323 veteran Dick Lowe explaining about the 37mm cannon. The other video shows a general piece about the PT boats in WW2 and the restoration of PT658. It ends with a short view of the PT658 underway at about 24 knots in the Williamette river last June. Here is the links to them below.

You will have to copy and paste these into your browser address bar and it should work fine. The boat sure looks good cruising right at you in the second video! PS We also have these links on the Save the PT Boats website= www.savetheptboatinc.com
