I will be putting in my proposal to be a part of next years BIG E. As you may recall, I did a 17 day PT BOAT EXHIBIT there back in 1998. This was when last survivor of the PT-109 sinking, Gerard Zinser was there. The Big E will run from September 14, 2012 - October 30th. My theme for the BIG-E will be centered around my 4M-2500 Packard Marine Engine, and all of my Exhibit models. It will be a PT BOAT/ Packard Marine Engine display. The Exhibit will be open from 10:00am until 10:00p.m. every day in whatever building I can get into. Providing they like my proposal, I will be looking for volenteer's to help staff the Exhibit. Any help would be great and on any day or set of days.

In 1998 it was great because the Exhibit was staffed by PT BOAT VETS. This is not the case now as most of those who helped me then are now gone or a bit too old. There is a possibility that I could get a few of the Vets in my area. I know this is a real early notice, and it all hinges on them excepting my proposal, but I need to be prepared. If and when this happens, I will send out information packets to any of you who might be willing to help. The BIG-E is located in West Springfield, Mass, with easy access from the MASS PIKE.
