» Topic: LF a Copy of Mr. Carney's Scale Modeler's Notebook
http://www.ptboatforum.com/cgi-bin/MB2/netboardr.cgi?cid=101&fid=102&tid=2287

Greetings from Sunny and Hot Afghanistan,

I am collecting reference material on a future build for my PT projects upon returning home next March and in need of a copy of Mr. Carney's Scale Modeler's Notebook...could anyone point me in the right direction as to where I can purchase it online?

I will be buying Mr. Connelly's book also. Garth has been a world of help to me on several other projects to include a PTF project I was working on prior to being sent to the box again. I look forward to his latest effort.

Despite doing armchair modeling, this site is great for those of us not actually capable of getting our hands in our kits. The vast knowledge base and access to actual veterans of the service (despite their ever dwindling numbers) is amazing. Thankfully such forums are here to preserve their service and history for many years to come.

Thanks in advance!

Semper Fi,

Jon

To All My Fellow PT Boat Fans,

Who responded with th kind words...with the utmost sincerity I appreciate the kind words. The greatest thing about being over here is all the great people I work with. My office is made up of Brits, Danish, and Americans...all great people.

The support from home is greatly appreciated and the kind words are really appreciated.

Armchair modeling sucks, but luckily when such a great website exists with such experts on one of my favorite subjects it makes it a bit easier.

Semper Fi,

Jon
