was watching an episode of sea hunt the other morning and noticed what looked like a 63ft crash boat.it was being used as a diving research (naval) boat. are there any others that my have caught that? maybe glenn anderson saw it. ,

Jerrad,
I don't recall the episode, but after the war most 63's did not meet a fiery finish as there big brothers, the PT's.
The Coast Guard was given the lions share but due to post war reductions they only saw a year or two of service.
I can only fathom that the 63's were a good military surplus buy for fisherman and dive boat charters as there was no need to remove 15 feet
for non-Capt CG compliance as some PT's were fated.

the episode was...the stunt. showed a front as well as a broad side view. i think it would have brought a tear to my grampas eyes. nice to here form a former crash boater.
