All,

Victor Chun's second edition of American PT Boats of World War II has been announced by Schiffer. It is scheduled for Fall release. I look forward to this book. Thanks for the effort Victor!

No doubt this will be yet another great book on PT BOATS of WWII. There seems to be a real push on PT BOAT publications over the last year or so. I hope some of them will inspire those who know little about the boats to take the time to learn about them...............

Victor and I have met a few times at his house while we were working on our respective books this past Spring. I can say by my first hand observation that Victor lives for details and seeking any new information on PTs. His books are of course beautiful productions.

The new tool that Victor has (and all us have) that was not available on the first release of his book is the internet and the tremendous communications to share and connect-the-dots of what were previously isolated pieces of information. I'm sure this new release will be required reading for all of us who are on-board and ride the boat of PT interests

I also can't wait to see the updated version of cornerstone book and what new things he has gathered around PT boats!

Thanks Victor!

As I am still reading the "galley proof" my publisher sent me, I got on the website of Barns &
Noble and found a picture of my vol. II in their listing. Much to my surprise the price is lower than vol. I. May be that's the pre-order price.
As you know, without the support of the Message Board and certain individuals the book
will never get published. Thank you one and all.
