Were any PT boats used on the Rhine River? If so how were they transported there? Up the river and canal system to the Rhine or were they transported by truck to the Rhine like the LCMs for the assualt across the Rhine?

Not even practical to put PT Boats on the Rhine during the War. Although the boats served in every Theater of operations, their choice of work was Coastal. They did sneak into River inlets in the Pacific on occassion, but that was very dangerous work.
