Ok guys, I'm starting to get very excited about Stan's PT-10 project. He just sent me these latest photo's and it seems he is ahead of schedule. More to be done, as inside of turrets need to be finished, and some other deck items, but as you can see, she is looking Beautiful.When she gets her final coat of paint, she will be launched from the Elco Crane, into the basin and on her way to my home.

Frank;
Stan is sure doing a wonderful job. I used to think I was fast, but Stan just blows me away!!
I don't have any photos of this on 70' Elcos, but there were steps in the rear corners of the cockpit on 77' Elco's, sort of like the ones on the outside of the cabin, but they fit into the corners.
Take care,
TED

Ted
Stan knows about the step, but just has not added in yet. Remember, this is not a completed project. Turrets need to be finished as well as arragements around and inside of Helm. Should be awesome when finished...........................

Possible stand for the boat might be a copy of the original ELCO CRADLE. Not sure if Stan has the time to build it, he is about to start the USS COAST GUARD EAGLE. This is a massive build as the boat will be scratch built and go 6FT. in Length!!!. I bet this will take well over a year to complete.

Thanks Dave. Stan was working on torpedoes, and starting the inside of the turrets, which as you know is much different and tougher to build then the standard 80 Ft. Turret mount. I have the drawings for the inside, which did not leave much room for the gunner, nor did the guns hold very much ammo.
