I was one of the restoration volunteers that worked on the PT-309, which now resides in Fredericksburg, TX, at the Nimitz Museum. I have a folder full of newsletters, various notes, some "PT boaters" bumper stickers, etc. If anyone is interested in these things I will send them to you for free. Please email me at jjr48@slb.com.

Can you suggest a contact person in Fredericksburg? I'd like to include material on the 309 in my Higgins book, but have not had much luck getting any response from the folks at the museum.

Yes. Jeff Hunt is still with the museum and he also worked on the '309.

In fact, if no one else requests my documents then I'll probably send them to him.
