First, thanks again to Dick for advising everyone about the Knights of the Sea CD being available thru the Ship's Store in Germantown. He mentioned that this was offered in the latest “All Hands” issue.

I received my All Hands early in the week, but only got a chance to read thru it tonight. While looking up the Knights of the Sea E-Book to order it, I noticed that The Last Reunion: Photos is also available.

Three weeks after the reunion I travelled to Memphis to a cousin's wedding. While there, I happened to find time to go by and see Alyce and Allyson and personally thank them and their families for their work in putting on a tremendous reunion. I presented 3-CD's of photos to them and said to keep or give them to whomever. Then, I casually mentioned that maybe it they wanted to duplicate them it may be a way to get some fund's into the coffers for PT Boats Inc.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this evening that they had done just that! I had no idea. If any one of you is interested, or know PT veterans and families that may be appreciative of this memento, please give it some consideration. I gave them to Alyce, no strings attached. All $$ taken in for this goes to PT Boats Inc.

To be sure that everyone is aware of what is included in the CD, I was not at every event, and arrived late on Friday/Jul-2nd for the Splinter's Social/Meeting. This is what was documented :

> SAT/JUL-3rd, WARWICK, RI
8:00am - Breakfast - Attendees (mostly seated at the round tables)
8:45am - Visiting Time / Models
9:30am - All Hands Business Meeting
11:30am - Lunch & The Live Auction (I had so much fun at this event)
6:00pm - Banquet & Fellowship

> SUN/JUL-4th, FALL RIVER, MA - BATTLESHIP COVE
1:30pm - Tour of PT's at BB Cove (shots on and below deck of PT617)
2:30pm - Memorial Service onboard Battleship Massachusetts (very moving; I was proud to be a part of it, although I was only in the wings taking photos)

OK, sorry for the length of this message, but I have to tell you this too. Oddly enough, when I was downloading my pics to the computer, I noticed that many of the veterans, wives or widow's name tags were clearly visible. I began contacting attendees and either mailed prints or e-mailed pics to them or their families. I had hoped to keep it up - because I wanted to get them to as many as I could who were there - but, I was getting frustrated with how much time it was taking, and I wasn't nearly finished. THIS now will allow me to share with others who were there - and with those who have an interest in the greatest group of veterans the world has ever known.
