Here is a New Downloadable Booklet -

"Motor Torpedo Boat - Engineer's Handbook" - for both Elco & Higgins boats.

This is a 50 page booklet published by the Motor Torpedo Boat Repair Training Unit, Newport (Melville) RI for the Navy's Bureau of Ships as a "handy Guide" to properly inspect, operate and maintain PT boat engineering equipment. A ready reference intended for base forces, and boat crews.

Another nice book I had scanned from microfilm, re-assembled and created a "PDF", the microfilm was loaned to me by Al Ross, thanks Al . . . Click on the lick below:

Yes Hadly,
I already downloaded it but we already had a Hard copy that was donated to us 3 years ago. It is a nice little booklet We have engine startup and shutdown procedures that we use to operate the PT658 and we based them upon the info in this book as well as a few others.
Dick, Thanks for posting these files online. They really come in handy! Jerry PT658 Portland
