FYI
Here is a really ironic coincidence, while multi-tasking as all special boat men are taught to do, I came across an extemely unique coincidence!
I was looking at Will's list, when Al asked for info on PT 130, well looking at Will's list you will notice that PT 130 at one time in her life was nicknamed "RAVEN"(probably when she was with RON 7 in 1942-43, just arriving in New Guinea with Bulkeley). Well while surfing the web I was interested in S-130(the only surviving S-100 class Schnellboot, which was the lead boat in the Operation Tiger attack, now being restored in the Plymouth, England area), for her whole life was commanded by Kapitan Luetnant Gunther Rabe of the 9th Schnellboot Flotilla whose call sign was "RAVEN" which is because RABE is German for RAVEN, therefore, S-130 and PT 130 were both originally called "RAVEN"!!! WOW small world in World War Two also!!!
Take care,
TED
