Restoration of Higgins PT-305 New Orleans, La

I recently had the opportunity to visit the restoration project of the Higgins PT-305. It is located across the street from the D-Day WWII Museum on Andrew Higgins ave. This boat is a long way from done, but I was able to view it in the warehouse that it is being worked on. The poor stripped down boat makes it easier to see how the hull was constructed.
For those of you that don't know me, I'm Ed Pernick. Harv Zimmerman is my Dad and he built Elco boats then joined up and was on Base 11 in the Solomon's. He's been on the board for years and I'm enjoying the privilege to be serving for the last 3 years.

I must be doing something wrong, but all I see when I cut and paste the link you posted in your 2nd post is a photo of a sunset. I do not wish to join facebook at this time. Is there any way I could see these pictures of PT305? Jerry
