Got my copy of the second DVD Dick has put together and am thrilled! It includes images from three rolls of 35mm microfilm on the 70' ELCOs, one on the V drive for PT 812, one on PT 810, and the 4M2500 manual. The images of the 70' boats are amazingly clear and sharp. Of particular interest to me was a plan and profile of the PTC version. I've held off doing a drawing of this type because I wasn't sure about the shape of the depth charge rails. Well, they're there...[:-veryhappy-:]

Thanks, Dick!!!

Al

Al
I look forward to your PTC blueprint, as I want to do PTC 4 for my friend CAPT. Robert R. Green USN (Ret.), who was her only USN skipper, but is now on his last patrol.
Take care,
TED

Great work guys, 2010 is officially a banner year for PT part details. Drive those modelers nuts!

I find the alterations interesting and try to figure out the reasons for changes.

Just got the DVD, thanks Al and Dick! The drawings look excellent so far. The text on the offset drawing I saw was nicely readable. I look forward to digging into it more.

The Packard manual is a gem, lots of engine measurements. Enough to please any hard core modeler.

I really appreciate the effort and expense you've put into this and the ELCO 103 class DVD Dick. They answer so many questions. I hope you manage to sell enough to get your money back... Once again thanks, you are the man.
