Hello guys. I was just wondering how many of you are planning to make it to the last get together in Rhode Island. I just booked my rooms for two nights, and will be there July 3 & 4th. So many of us have been friends for a number of years, but have never even met. I think it would be a real blast to finally get together. Are any of you planning to attend?

That would be great to meet all those guys, but I feel like I would be trespassing.

I'll be there, doing a book-signing ... just for a day though.

This being the veterans last reunion I think I would feel out of place. I understand Dick, Frank, Garth, Al, and especially family members attending. You are authors and artists preserving their legacy. I'm just a model builder that asks a lot of questions. :-) I think I would feel like I was crashing some body's party. Probably no good basis for that feeling. I just thought this was their time to be together one last time and I don't think I belong there. Am I crazy?

Dave

Your feeling like this is crazy. This is a wonderful chance to meet many folks, both PT VETS and those of us who live and breath PT BOATS. Modelrs make up a good portion of membership for PT BOATS INC, so you would not be out of place one little bit. I am sure all of us would love to have you and anyone else attend this all important last Reunion.............

David, GO!

If I had more than two nickles to rub together I'd be going.

Don't lose this last opportunity to talk with the guys and gals.

Garth
I am not sure when you are going. I have changed my reservations and will be there on Friday morning, July 2cond, staying until Sunday morning. I too will be doing a book signing, maybe on Friday. Heck maybe we can do them together............

I'll need to co-ordinate the day with my brother ... he'll be driving. The thing is Frank, I'm not sure if we'll be going there from Ellington or from the Cape, that weekend is normally when we start our 2 week vacation, but as you know Frank, things have changed drastically here, so I don't know what's up anymore ...

Since Warwick/Providence is equidistant from both - we can easily do both.

Yeah, I'd like that, we could throw spitballs at each other ... and call each other names ... Yeah, yeah.

Hello everyone-

I for one wish that this was "NOT" the last reunion, but that's my say! I'd love to be there, but right now I don't see just how that is possible. It's a long trip from down here in Florida.

I have made a lot of friends here on this ol' message board and I'd love to meet and greet everyone and shakes hands with them all.

I still play the lottery every week, that's my ticket of dreams. If I win, I'll be there with bells on!

Hope everyone attending has a wonderful time!

Well, unfortunately Frank, the dwindling numbers kinda dictates that it's that time .........

I hate to say it, but it's true.

It should be the dream of a life-time to meet all those WWII PT BOATERS and listen to all those stories. I look forward to being there, and doing my book signing with Garth, and meeting some of you guys that I never meet before. I am excited about the whole thing............

As do I Frank, as do I. This will mark my 2nd book signing, 10 years apart and what's interesting is that, my 1st book signing was also at a PT BOATERS' reunion ... the one in Danvers.

My father lives in the area. I could stay there. What do I need to do to register if I have my own place to stay? I'd sure love to get Garth's and Frank signature on their books.

Just call Alyce Guthrie at PT BOATS INC at the telephone number provided at the bottom of this page. She will give you all the information you would need. Hope you go. I look forward to meeting you......

Or, click on the link that's on the front page of this site..............

My best friend said she MIGHT come up for it. I HOPE she does ... having that friend there for that would mean EVERYTHING to me.

I'm planning to be there from noontime to at around 2, ... then, I'm heading down to my house at the Cape.

But, before I go down there, I'm going to see if I can find the office for THE ATLANTIC PARANORMAL SOCIETY (TAPS) which is in Warwick as well. Do any of you guys know if it's near that hotel?

Garth
