» Topic: My father was a PT boater
http://www.ptboatforum.com/cgi-bin/MB2/netboardr.cgi?cid=101&fid=102&tid=1681

My father was in the South Pacific during WWII. He passed away in 1994 and was an advid PT boater. I wanted to find out about the PT boat that he was on and if anyone can help me I would appreciate it. His name was Peter J Trudel. Is there a way to find out what he did? Thanks

Ed,

You can get your fathers service records from the Federal Government. I would have to dig for the address but recall that it was in St. Louis, MO. Anyone else on the board have the address that they can share with Ed?

Ed - According to a one-column bio in KNIGHTS OF THE SEA, your father was a Motor Machinist's Mate 3rd Class who served with MTBRons 9 and 30. He served aboard PTs 153,157 and 459, among others.
