This pic was in the PT Boats, Inc. 2009 Calendar. Mrs. Margaret Sunderman sent it to me.

It is a great close up of this class of PT Boat Tenders and I'm hoping that there are similar close up shots, like this, in somebody's collection. Maybe even from the same reel of film or at least the same place and time.

This is a prime example of images valuable to model builders. More so than images of the entire ship, from afar.

Gary,

Thank you for responding! Yes, I have seen those photos on Navsource.org. I was the one who submitted them, courtesy of Bill Robertson, crewmate of the Oyster Bay and in possesion of the CO's personal photos, which those close up photos were.

I met and visited with David Stotts, last month. His father took some wonderful photos of his exploits and travels while on PT-Boats and on the USS Willoughby AGP-9.

I picked out about eight of them that I'd love to have copies of for the AGP aspect of my interests.

All of the photos are a treasure. I hope that they can be archived in some official capacity for all to enjoy.
