I was watching the "Color of War, Anchors Aweigh" on the TV yesterday afternoon at about 3 pm. The show was mostly about carriers but they were talking about smaller support vessels. They were panning some scenes and they had a close up of a couple of sailors, one who had his head turned. When he turned to the camera I almost had a fit. It was my father. The weird thing is that today is the 5th anniversery of his death. It was like he was looking right at me. Right after that shot there was one of a PT under way. Thanks to all of you who post on this site. I haven't posted in a long time but I frequently check the messages. It always reminds me of Dad. Mark

Mark
What are the chances of something like that ever happening. You must have been both pleased and proud to have seen your Dad. Thanks for sharing the story with us..............

Hi Kent, The scene was very brief, if I blinked I would have missed it. It was right before the shot of a PT traveling from left to right across the screen and right before a shot of a yellow dye packet in the water. I'm still in shock. Mark
