http://www.ptboatforum.com/cgi-bin/MB2/netboardr.cgi?cid=101&fid=102&tid=1632

I'm at work, I'm in a hurry & bottom line OK I'm just being lazy!!!
That said does anyone know off the top of their head, what class & series the Ron 33 boats were. 103 class sticks in my head, but I can't figure out the series.
PTs 488-497.
Thanks & Have a great weekend!

Not sure if this is the answer you are after, but PTs 137 & 138 were boats from the first series, and PTs 488-497 were from the second series...

Looking on PT Boat World, it has 103 class boats listed as series 200 through 700.
Since you said the later boats in Ron 33 (488-497) were 2nd series, I'm wondering if that would make them 300 series boats?

Blake;
The first series is PT 103-196.
The second series was PT 314-383, 486-624, 731-790(731-760 were sent to USSR lend lease, 761 was built but never shipped, 762-790 construction was cancelled).
take care,
