RON 35 PT 514 "FLYING JINI"
http://www.ptboatforum.com/cgi-bin/MB2/netboardr.cgi?cid=101&fid=102&tid=1480
Gentleman;
My friend James Mountcasle, RON 3(2), RON 35 XO who is currently on his last patrol, formerly of Seaford, Virginia wrote me some years ago telling me of his time in PT 46, and I have since found out he was later Exec for Tom Kendall on PT 48.
Anyway, I would like to obtain photos of his boats, sort of as a little commemoration. His boats were PT 46 with Stilly Taylor and Brent Greene, 48 which I have, and PT 514 The "Flying Jini" from RON 35 named for his wife.
Does anyone have a photo of 46 and 514 they can send me?
Thanks,
TED

Check out this website which identifies PT 1 (re-numbered to confuse enemy Agents) as PT 46

Hope this helps...

Thanks.
But I am trying to find a better photo of 516, like at the pier in Portsmouth or Portland, England. I have one of those 1/64th scale , or whatever it really is(I think PT 518 decals came with it originally), Lindberg models which I bought off ebay as a junk previously built model. It is just begging for conversion and rebuild, and this is just the subject.
Thanks again,
TED
