John Lambert and I are still working on ACF, Vol.3. My part of this book includes the Higgins and Canadian Power Boat Company types, so I'm still trying to track down more info on two subjects - 70' Higgins built for the RNN and the four CPB boats of RON18. I've been through most of the more standard sources, including the LA Digital Library Higgins Collection.

Higgins needs:

a. I have a copy of an actual Higgins general arrangement drawing for the 70' boat, but would like to acquire a lot more material, including photos, as I will be drawing several plans of this type for the book.

b. Could use a copy of the specs books for at least one series of the 78' boats.

CPB needs:

a. I have a fair amount of material on the 70' CPB boats prior to transfer, but not much on them as PTs. Again, photos would be the primary interest.

Thanks.

Al: Glad to hear Vol. III is still in the works. After corresponding with John, it is amazing the amount of hassle you two have gone through trying to get this thing off the ground.
