I am trying to compile photos of PT 48's skippers here is what I have right now:
Ens. Robert R. Green performed the acceptance trails as Shipsup at ELCO Sept 10-15 1941
Ens. Bruce Van Buskirk Sept 16, 1941-29 Oct 1941
Ens. A.B. Chace 29 Oct- 8 Nov 1941
Ens John M. Searles (first exec and skipper Nov 1941-Dec 1941
LTjg Robert C. Wark Dec 1941-24 June 1942
Lt jg Tom Kendall 24 June 1942-20 Feb 1943
Ltjg James C. Mountcastle Feb 20-25 1943
LTjg John Iles 25 Feb 1943-17 Nov1943
LTjg Ken W. Prescott 18 Nov 1943-20 Jan 1944

I NEED PHOTOS OF ROBERT GREEN(who was in RON 1, 2, and PTC RON 1, BRUCE VAN BUSKIRK(as an Ensign or LTjg if possible, who was in RON 1 at Pearl on 12/7/1941, if not as RON 29 CO), A.B. Chace, and John ILES(Iles later went as Skipper PT 126 RON 6 to New Guinea. If anyone has a better one of James Mountcastle, that would help too, otherwise I can use the photo of him with RON 35 CO Allan Harris. I have nothing on who relieved Ken (and Ken does not remember)or who was in charge of her in her remaining months out in the zone or back at Melville......HELP!!!!!! This will fill in a huge gap in my history of the Boat
