Hello All,

I THINK you guys (and the few ladies here) might find this interesting.

I am attempting to write a period novel that I might attempt to self-publish with the help of lulu.com.

Of course, as all of you suspect ... it concerns PTs and a PT skipper (modeled after yours truly). It takes him as a student at a prep school, the Naval Academy and on through training at Melville and then combat in the Southwest Pacific.

I've found a good source that gives one a glimpse at life at the Training Center and I'll rely on one of the Squadron's 'histories' as reference for the combat scenes ...

It's one of these 'names have been changed to protect the innocent type of thing ...

Garth
