» Topic: Fly the Flag Tomorrow--Memorial Day
http://www.ptboatforum.com/cgi-bin/MB2/netboardr.cgi?cid=101&fid=102&tid=1359

I have an old forty-eight star flag that I will fly tomorrow. It is the same size that we used on PT's but unfortunately it is not a PT flag. If I had a PT flag it would fly tomorrow and on Independence Day and on VJ Day.

My Flag flies at my Home each and every day with pride, but today is another one of those special days where it takes on a different meaning to those who care. God Bless those who fought and died for our Country. A prayer to my uncle, Clarence Joseph Andruss who died at the age of 19, serving with the Second Marine Division, on the Island of Sipan, during WWII.

My flag flies everyday here at BLUE FALCON MANOR! It represents my fathers generation...the greatest! Who served in World War Two and Korea. My brothers and my generation, the baby boomers, who also put on the Uniform and went into harms way in Korea, Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, Desert Storm l and ll, Kosovo and are still there today, and the Generation X 'ers and beyond who are in harms way today and the future.
Take care,
TED
