All,
For we few AVR boaters and PT brothers, I found a new web site on AVR
(avaiation rescue boats)

Good shots of current restorations and old Sea Scout Units.

Hey Glenn,
This link does not work at all, are you sure it is the correct link? Are there any other keywords we could use to search for it? Jerry

For some reason the link gets added on to this sites address. Here Jerry:

I gave the full size mount drawing to a man whose boat is pictured there, Randy Cunningham. He's done a great restoration job too. Maybe he'd be interested in having your machinist make a set for him also.

Thanks fo the proper link, Jeff!

Growing up with the Sea Scouts and our 63' ASR was quite the experiance that I'll never forget. We took month long cruises all around the northeast every summer. Some of our ports of call were Fall River Mass, Block Island RI and Lake Champlain NY.
The boat ran with military bearing such as wheel watches, engine watches and anchor watches. Gave us a handel on life at an early age!

Personally gave me the importance of pre-cruise check off lists when on our first cruise and I was the cook, I only had one spoon and one bowl for the first breakfast! Crew of 10! Also learned not to put dry ice next to the milk the night before!

If anyone is interested I have a PDF file on our 1972-1982 years I will share. Drop an e-mail at www.ganderson@pppl.gov
