PT boat video is limited but there's some great shots of life in that rugged place. Aircraft operations are mostly covered, the P-38 landing on a flooded airfield is amazing. If you have a fast internet connection get the 2GB version:

Thanks for putting it up, I have this video also and mentioned it months ago but nobody seemed interested. PT 24 is GM1/c John Akin's first boat(PT 658 restoration crew and major driving force)! It is awesome video of the RON 1 boats, even thou it is only a couple of seconds. The RON 1 footage from there trip to Midway is the best thou. Do you have it also? John Ford shot it, or his cameramen did.

Oops sorry Ted, I missed your post about it. I don't have the other video you mention, is it available anywhere? I'd love to see it. As much as I like images, there's nothing like seeing PT boats in action even if they're just cruising.
