Thank you for your contribution to the PT Boat bulletin board. I find your introduction to Ken Duncan and Colin Buchanan to be a most refreshing touch. I hope to keep in touch with their contributions through the Internet with regularity. I particularly appreciate Colin's rendition of Christmas Greetings.
Just so you know, I go back to the PT Boaters of Jan 1943. That is when I first entered the New Caledonia and Solomon island areas. I never got to Australia and/ or New Zealand. I did get to meet 2 or 3 AU/NZ coast watchers while I was in the Solomon area.
I don't recall the names but I think they were the greatest. I know that they were used all over the SOPAC area. I think they never received the attention that they deserved.
