As we get set to embark on yet another Thanksgiving, let us bow our heads in prayer. Let us thank our Veterans of WWII for giving us the chance to break bread with our loved ones. Their sacrifices paved the way for future generations to not only enjoy our Freedom but to set aside this very special day with Family. To all our Veterans of all past Wars, I say thank you. To those Men and Women in the Middle East, who can't be home with their Familes, we pray for your safe return. To my PT BOAT VETERANS, thank you, and to all of us here on the message board. HAPPY THANKSGIVING..............

And on behalf of the Sixth Army Alamo Scouts, I would like to say thank you to the PT Boat Veterans for the outstanding job of transporting the Scout teams to and from their mission destinations in New Guinea and in the Philippines. Without you guys, the Scouts couldn't have been successful in their 106 plus missions behind enemy lines... Have a Happy Thanksgiving

I thought today would be a good day to share this from my father's (Pete Bondarchuk RON9 PT 160) collection. This is a Thanksgiving menu from PT Base 17 in 1945. I hope you all enjoy it.
