Veteran's Day is very special to me.
First, it reminds me of my friends and clasmates who gave their lives in Viet Nam.
It gives credit to my time spent as a Medic with the 2/4 Infantry during the cold war.
But most of all, I can celebrate my Dad's birthday which is on Veterans Day. He would have been 91 years old.
He served on PT 221 Ron 16. He was very proud of his PT service.
He was a Radioman 2nc class and had many good memories of his contatct with his crew during this time.
