http://www.ptboatforum.com/cgi-bin/MB2/netboardr.cgi?cid=101&fid=102&tid=1057

Hi there.

Tomorrow is Rememberance Day up here. I'm not sure what it's called in the US.

Every year I go to the local cenotaph for the services.

I find it very interesting that most pay tribute to the men and women of the Airforce, the Army and the Navy yet most froget about the sacrifices made bythe men of the Merchant Marine. With out the Merchant Marine the armed forces would not have had the materiel to wage the valiant and long fight they eventually won.

So, when you pause for the minute of silence tomorrow pray also for the souls of the men of the Merchant Marine.

Cheers from PeterTareBuilder
