Anyone hear anything at all on a possible Italeri 1/35th scale PT 103-class 80' Elco kit release, or are we (some of us, anyway) just dreaming?

Hi there.

I have heard rumours that they were/are going to release one. But when is any one's guess. I still wish they'd get the PT-596 crew set out. That was announced some time ago now.

Hi Drew,
The original rumor was December this year. I wrote Italeri and heard nothing back. They are two years behind schedule releasing the S Boat. The figures are slow in coming out. I wouldn't be surprised to see it come out eventually, but I wouldn't wait up by the computer looking for a press release anytime soon.

Ahoy there gentlemen and fellow scale PT boat modelers-

I had told Pete that I would get back to him on the availability of the Italeri PT boat crew in 1/35 scale. I have a buddy here in Jacksonville that is part owner of Hobby Town USA shop.

I asked him to find the price for me as I want to order a couple of set. After nearly an hour of searching every possible place to order from- NOTHING!!!

In this months (OCTOBER) issue of Fine Scale Modeler magazine, the Italeri ad on the inside cover shows the PT crew set avertized. So it seems this is just the prelude of the set coming out. NO ONE has any information on the set.

I have heard scuttlebutt on the early 103 class coming out from Italeri from my hobby shop buddy as well. Like I said it's just a guess as to when? Trying to contact Italeri is a run around! We'll just have to wait it out I guess!
