Amazon is up to seven positive reviews for BUILDING THE PT BOATS, most five star, average 4.5. Many people on this board contributed. Thanks very much! that critical mass of reviews should ensure that this book has a long and well deserved "shelf life" as a standard reference on the topic.

Fred and other authors,
With amazon, you can have many good reviews but one bad review
can drop you down to 4.5 star as in my case.

Victor,
yes, you're right -- but my observation is that total # of reviews has, if anything, more positive impact on sales than the average star rating.

Hello All:
Just a quick to thank all of you that ordered the Book, Buuilding the PT Boats. The book seems to be moving well, and I just found out that PT BOAT HEADQUARTERS will be carrying the book in the ships store very soon. Also, PT 728 Website is carrying the book, as well as the boys from PT 658 Website. Thank you to everyone. I am in the process of working on the second book, which will honor those who served on the Bases, Tenders, RTU, and FEMU Barges. Once again, if anyone has any photo's to share on the subject, please contact me at mosquitofleet@comcast.net
