Jeff,

I guess I should have used the word "fitting," instead of "proper!"

Although I've always vastly preferred the looks of the Elcos over the stubby Higgins 78-footers, it has to be recognized that the Higgins PTs and the crews that manned them were gamers, and certainly contributed their fair share in combat.

Hi
For Me I'd have to have another go at PT174 in the Adapter scheme as this time I wouldn't have to scratchbuild so much.

Ahoy there Muddy Fields-

If your Italerie kit build of the RON-10 PT-174 comes out anything like what you did for your fantastic 174 diorama, it'll be a head turner for sure. I absolutely love your 174 diorama. Fantastic job, my friend! High five to the Ron-10 boats!!

I am leaning towards the 156 with the quad .50 Maxon mount on the fantail that my father-in-law James Burgess, USA Retired (deceased), facilitated while on New Guini.

I'm thinking the 149. Great shots of her exist with the beehive radar.

Hi Frank
Thanks Glad you like it.
I picked up a 2nd hand part built kit (PT596) a year or so ago & was going to convert that into the late version of the PT174 this was before Italeri said they were releasing the new 103 class. So Looks like I'll be going with that kit.
I hope She's as nice a kit to build as the 596 kit.
