Sadly,
I have a feeling the screenwriters will not reach out to us, they probably think they already know all they need to know in order to write the screenplay. If this was a movie produced by lets say Clint Eastwood or the director of a series like "The Pacific" or "Band of Brothers" then maybe there is a chance they would want to be as accurate as possible, but who knows if they will go that route.

I did reach out to Kevin Kilgore, so I guess it remains to see if he writes back or not.

I heard back from Evan Kilgore who explained that they aren't ready for production yet but may reach out to us when they get closer. He explained that they want to make the movie as accurate as possible. I invited him to check out this site as well as Jeff's 103 site. I recommended two of the latest 109 books to him as well. Think good thoughts gents. I know that there are a lot of folks here who can add to different aspects of a production like this from history to digital reproduction.

I nominate Will Day, he worked on the original and has a model they can use. Sorry Frank they're going to have to blow it up at the end...

See Dave I knew there was a reason Will was holding on to this model. I too heard back from Mr. Kilgore, who outlined their desire to get it right. He suggested I stay in touch and I passed along some names as well.

No Ted, Will was the guy taking a shower in the beginning of the movie. He is such a show off. In my previous post I meant to say Jeff, not Dave...............
