THANKS CJ, what a treat that must have been being so far from home. I am sure your mind raced to being back home and Mom's cooking, and thinking about CHRISTMAS dinner. I always love when you and EARL talk about these times. Great that you still keep in touch with the guys. MERRY CHRISTMAS CJ.

C.J.
I second Frank's sediments, It is always great to hear from you and Earl. I know you guys were thinking of Mom's cooking and family that day, especially after just coming back from patrol the night before. With 4 guys left from your crew, you guys should try to have a small reunion, but if not just keeping in touch is still the best.
Have you started another boat yet? I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year!
Take care,
TED

Hi Earl,
So Good to hear from you, I was thinking you've been pretty quiet lately. I missed seeing you on the board. You too C.J.
Never get tired of hearing the stories, its like a gift.
Bob and I went to a I-max theater and saw this Monarch butterfly migration movie. That was nice but the commercial for an up and coming movie they are going to have about D-Day was really something. If your not familiar with the I-max theater, its like a 3-D full screen all around you, you feel like you are there and you are flying with the camera. Anyway, it was really something, planes in the air, fleets of Navy ships of all kinds as far as you could see, the roar of the engines. Just the commercial for the movie gave Bob and I food for thought on how it really was for you guy's. I told Bob I would love to hear more stories on how it was. So we could better grasp Bob's Fathers experience on PT156. I like to hear about things you don't read about in history books, more about how it felt. what you thought, stuff like that.
Thanks for the stories and never feel like you are boring us, we love the stories.

Merry Christmas
Julie

Julie;
I just viewed the trailer:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwwDIvvV-NM

Oh how I wish someone could make a new movie about PT Boats with all the new CGI they have, it would be awesome!
I have not heard any word on the most recent effort, but who knows, maybe someday.
Take care,
TED
