My apologies Jerry, I thought you were referring to the link not working, I see you were trying to "embed" the video into the post. Yes you have to use the HTML "embed" link.

Jerry: I would sure have liked to have been on that cruise with you guys. I would have enjoyed visiting with Murl Wescott who was in the same Squadron 19 at the same time on the 236 and I was on the 242. We would have been patroling together from about Nov 1, 1943 until May 15, 1944 when Ron 19 was split up and the 236 went to Ron 20 and we went to Ron 23. I didn't know Wescott but did have a good buddy I went through boot camp with, Edgar Lyon "Skee" Williams, who was a crew member of the 236.

Hi CJ!
I will see Murl this next week and will relay the message and your picture to him. I pointed you out to him on the 242 picture and your buddy with the bandage on his head from the Snuffy Smith RON19 Cruise Book. He seemed to have heard about it when your pal was climbing out of the water and bumped his head on the torpedo propeller blade. I will ask Murl if he knows Skee Williams. Jerry
