Hi Stout and NatSmith,
I had these photos of PT155 I obtained from Alvin Hansen and Gustave Marinier collections. Gustave was a crewman on PT155, Alvin on another boat PT221. Anyway I thought you may be interested in seeing them. There are a few that show crewmembers although i dont know what your Grandpa looks like, so he may be in one of these pictures? Jerry

I was on PT154 RON 9 from Dec. 1942 until June 1944. I do not recall any Aaron Stout on PT155. Going by the crew's list that Nathaniel Smith posted, I can only recall Bob Haskett, GM2c and J.R. O'Neill, RM2c. I did not know Newberry at the time but learned about him many, many years later when I visited PT headquarters in Germantown, TN.

I thought I sent a response yesterday but the message did not seem to appear.
I am trying again. I am not familiar with Aaron. I was with PT154 RON 9 from Dec. 1942 to June 1944. The people I can recall from PT155 are the radioman, O'Neill and the gunner's mate.

Thanks for those images Jerry! I've spoken with Chris Harris who has those pictures and a lot more on his smugmug account here: http://affordable-beemers.smugmug.com/Military/PT-Boat-155-Ron-9-Pacific/13614385_o6Wqp#993434221_Ca5JN
We've talked a bit and are sharing what we have and I directed him here, so perhaps he can elaborate on those pictures or something. I believe my grandfather was already off PT 155 by the time those pictures were taken (he got sent back to Washington for Destroyer gun training in '45) but they are great pictures and really do a great job showing what life was like on the boat.
Thanks for the response Pat! Sadly my grandfather passed away a few years back, I'm sure he would have loved to speak with you! Take care!

Thanks to 'Stout' for directing me to this site. I'm Chris Harris, grandson of Gus Marinier, GM3 on PT155 late in the war. I've created a photo gallery of Gramps' pictures that are in my possesion and my aunt has recently found more. I should have those in a few days and I'll add them to the gallery located here:

Please feel free to view & share this gallery with anyone who might be interested in PT155. I'd be happy to hear from family members of former crew members also so please do not hesitate to e-mail me directly at Chris@AffordableBeemerServices.com
Thank you and Happy Holidays, Chris

Hey Stout, did you find anything on John L. McKay in those PT 155 logs?
