Very glad to get this detail!

What is confirmed then is that the collar was attached all around on the original (thanks Frank for digging out your vest. Did you take any photos while it was out?)

However, it seems, that due to the flexibility of jacket material (likely a lightweight canvass like material?) and general fatigue, after so many missions, of the material the appearance from behind when hung by its collar ties makes it hard to see this narrow section of material form the collar's tip to the shoulder. I can envision that the very front part of the material, up by the front of the collar, likely folded back on itself (again, when it's hung by the collar ties) in some similar fashion to say the triangular folds of folds of paper airplane.

I can easily adjust the process so that collar attaches completely around. That's simple enough. I am in the process of developing photos and directions for those that wish to make their own 'tea bag' jackets. I will experiment on some with fully attached collars and see if we still get the desired end results for the hanging jackets look.

Hello Bridge-

I am just simply blown away with your technique for the kapok jackets. After spending much time looking at the finished product on the PT-374 model, all I can say is they are amazing.

I know that all of the other modelers like myself can't wait until you post the instructions and pictures for making these jackets. I want to try my hand at a bunch of them for my three PT models.

Thanks so much for sharing these with us for this memorial diorama!

I did not think to snap photos of the Kapok. If I get time I will try and do that this week, but I am pretty busy this week. Jerry thanks for the color photo............
