Fleet Obsolete announces Veteran Appreciation weekend October 4 & 5.

PT 728 will be giving 1 1/2 hour rides on the Hudson River.

The boat will be leaving from the dock at Steel House Restaurant, East Strand, Kingston, NY

Times: 1 pm and 3 pm.

Adults: $25, Vets and Seniors: $10, Under 12: $5

Tickets are sold at the boat on the day of the trip. Reservations can be made by e-mailing your name, number in your party, and day and time of the trip you want to ann@pt728.com. Confirmation of your reservation will be sent via e-mail. You may then purchase the tickets when you arrive for the trip.

Thanks for posting Ann! It's great to hear that the first part of Fleet Obsolete is up and running. T. Garth Connelly posted a brief account on his trip on the 728 earlier this month on his website.

I was up to see the operation in June - it was very exciting! You can see that post here:

I plan to post periodic updates on the doings of the "Fleet." We'll be working on our website over the winter to add more photos. Please pass on the word about rides on PT 728 - it's the best way to support the restoration of 615, 459 and 48. Thank you.

I sent this wartime photo of PT459 to your webmaster last May but got no response just in case you did not get it here it is again, I ran across it at the PT boats Inc Reunion in Spokane in 2006 and i thought you may be interested in the photo since you have the PT459 there in Kingston, right?Jerry PT658 Portland, Oregon
