My family is trying to find some info and maybe some pictures of pt-304. My grandfather served on this boat. Does anyone have any info or know where we can find some? We are having a hard time finding it. |

Alicia84,
The photo on page 7 under the 'I Spy' post, has the 304 in the background, second from the left. I can email you the picture if you like.

Hello Alicia!
There was an onlline photo gallery of Mediterranean Sea PT photos, mostly of officers and some enlisted men (and their boats) of squadron 22. I just spent a half hour looking for the link...but I couldn't find it. Someone had scanned the vets' personal albums and posted the photos online (hundreds of them). Hopefully they are still online and someone else knows the link. I'll keep looking in the meantime! There were some websites on the sister boats of the 304 (305 and 309) but they recently went "poof."

Thanks for the responses. I hope you, newsnerd99, can find the website again, or maybe someone else can find it. I'm going to be looking myself for it.

My dad was on PT304 and I have lots of pics. I started a facebook group for PT-304 where I posted some of the crew photos. You can likely see your grandpa there!

Welcome aboard Alicia and you to Debbie, we hope you continue to visit on a regular basis - if you like PT boats it won't be a waste of time.
Click link button in the masthead at the top of the webpage " PT Boat Links" and half way down the page see the heading "Links no longer active but accessible through the The Way Back Machine (Internet Archives)".
There you will find an old PT 309 website that has been archived at the wayback machine website. Most of the photos are still linked, Take a look and see if it has anything of interest for you.
