Hi Message board folks, here are a few pics showing the current status of the USS PT658 at the Portland Rose Festival Fleet Week. We still have the boat out of the water on the cradle and have completed about 90% of the out of water repairs to the boat. We still wanted to attend the Fleet Week festivities, and as an added bonus we were highly visible to the general public who was able to come aboard for a guided tour of the boat, as it sat moored to the downtown sea wall on the barge. We had about 2500 visitors come aboard over the dates of June 5-10, 2008. A few of the photos show the new woodwork on the stern of the boat which had suffered from dry rot in the 4 years she has been sitting in the water since 2004. Enjoy the photos. Jerry
