The motor mac at the extreme right in photo #24 is a dead-ringer for actor Willem Dafoe -- it could be his Dad, the resemblance is so strong!

I don't recognize many of the crew members of other boats but I can give you name and address of everyone on 242. We lived together like brothers for over a year. They were a great group of guys. I can't recall one serious disagreement.

These crew pictures were taken in May of 1944 just before Ron 19 was decommissioned. Half of the boats went to Ron 20 the other half to Ron23. 242 went to Ron 23.

Aren't these the photos from the Snuffy book? The intense-looking guy to the left of C J Willis was my dad. He ended up staying with PTs right up until the end of 1948. Unfortunately I don't remember too many details of what he had told me about those experiences.

These photos did go into the making of the SNUFFY BOOK. They were donated by C.J. Willis for my Exhibit. They are the originals.

Awesome photos Frank. I love the T-shirts from the 235 boat. I never knew printed t's were around in WWII until we saw that one on e-bay.
